“Independence” is a reflection on the contemporary world of mankind. It focuses on the vulnerability and cohesion between individuals within a society.
The work was made on the occasion of the LOS festival 2019, and projected on the “Gray silo” in the Havenkwartier of Deventer. The appearance of this robust concrete silo, which contains huge shafts, was an important source of inspiration for the artwork.
