“Elusive”.
Elise van der Linden, video artist, 27 years.
Graduated at the Art Academy in 2006.
“I respond to spaces and I’m always looking for ways to create my video projections in a natural way in a place. Video is a means of showing change, change over time. My art is about decay, growing, being caught and breaking away; transformations. Time is visible and yet elusive, just like the light I use to fill spaces. My images can stir people, perhaps because they call emotions that are universal. I work full time on my art and have my own studio in the harbor quarter of Deventer, with which I am very happy. In that respect I have already reached the stage. “
