In this structure I wanted to express how natural forces can influence geometric relations. I wanted to make a grid that, as it were, is pushed up by a wave. Or better yet, which seems to become a wave itself. The idea arose through a project where the artwork was placed in a landscape with bunkers. The area where people also lived would be flooded during the cold war if the enemy were to come.
For certain visual elements I got inspiration from collapsed wooden roof constructions that I saw during my expeditions to dilapidated and deserted villages.

‘Thrust’ can be seen in the garden of Cube Gallery by appointment.
