This work was made for the closure of the National bookweek 2012, wich took place in the Lebuïnus church of Deventer.
The theme of the bookweek was ‘Friendship and other inconveniences’, the artwork is based on that theme.
The artwork is called ‘Friendship’. It is my imagination of communication between two identities. It shows a kind of dance of paper airplanes which slowly develops into a fragile world of connections, inspired by the spiral staircase of the church tower. The network of paper airplanes can evanesce easily.
